Section 6: Solenoid Valves on
It is recommended that on Spring-Return actuators, the Hytork "CATS" solenoid valves are
used. These valves are specially designed to prevent contamination of the internals of the
actuator by dirt from the atmosphere. This increases the working life of the actuator which
reduces down time and maintenance periods (refer to Figure 3).
