    3. How to Install the Indoor Unit (AWMI28AHL) 3-1. Remove the Rear Panel from the Unit (AWMI28AHL) (1) Remove and discard the set screw on the rear panel. (Fig. 5a) (2) Press the 2 marks on the frame cover and disen- gage the stationary tabs from the frame.

    (2) Double check with a ruler or carpenter’s level that the panel is level. This is important to install the unit properly. (Fig. 12) (3) Make sure the panel is flush against the wall. Any Fig. 12 space between the wall and unit will cause noise and vibration.

    3-8. Mounting (1) To install the indoor unit, mount the indoor unit onto the tabs on the upper part of the rear plate. (2) Hold down the air discharge outlet and press the lower part of the indoor unit until it clicks to secure- ly fasten to the 2 tabs on the lower part of the rear plate.
