Requirements The hardware configurator is part of the Siemens SIMATIC manager.

Install this GSD file in you configuration tool. Structure and content of the GSD file are dictated by the PROFIBUS User Organization (PNO) and may be retrieved there.

    System 300S Deployment PROFIBUS installation guidelines 5.5 PROFIBUS installation guidelines PROFIBUS in general A PROFIBUS DP network may only be built up in linear structure. PROFIBUS DP consists of minimum one segment with at least one master and one slave. A master has always been deployed together with a CPU.
  • Page 40 In PROFIBUS all participants are wired parallel. For that purpose, the bus cable must be feed-through. Via the order number 972-0DP10 you may order the bus connector "Easy- Conn" from Yaskawa. This is a bus connector with switchable terminating resistor and integrated bus diagnostic.
