13�3�2 Checking the gaskets
This operation must be carried out by a Jotul Service
Centre� Plan this type of cleaning with the Jotul Service
Centre�
When thoroughly cleaning the stove, the authorised
technician must check that the gaskets of
• door
• inspection hatches
are intact. If not, they will have to be replaced.

13�3�3 Smoke conduit cleaning
This operation must be carried out by a Jotul Assistance
Centre� Schedule this type of cleaning with the Jotul
Assistance Centre�
The stove is equipped with some hatches for cleaning the
internal smoke ducts.
To clean the smoke ducts, proceed as described below:

STEP ACTION
1 Open the hatches
Clean the ashes, eventually use a brush or similar
and reassemble everything.
2 Note: the hatches are equipped with gaskets,

therefore, before reassembling them, make sure
that the gaskets are not worn
Note: The operation must be carried out when the stove
is cold, using an ash vacuum cleaner.
