Analog signal input
When configuring a simple command circuit using a variable resistor (VR) and resistors (R),
it is as shown below.
+12 V
-12 V
Pulse train command
Pulse train interface
The pulse train command input can support both line driver and open collector interfaces, but we
recommend using a line driver interface as shown in the figure below in order to improve signal
transmission reliability.
Be aware that the line driver and open collector interfaces differ in terms of how they are wired to the
servo driver.
 Line driver interface
Allowable output voltage range of line driver: 3.1 V ≤ VOH - VOL ≤ 4.7 V
If the above condition cannot be satisfied, the input signal may be disturbed and the operation of
the servo motor may become unstable.
