the procedure.
Follow the on-screen instructions to perform
the procedure.
Note:
Place the used auto cutter blade in a bag or other
suitable container, and dispose of it in accordance with
local ordinances and municipal laws.
Precautions when Replacing
the Auto Cutter Blade
❏ Take care not to damage the cutter blade.
Dropping it or knocking it against hard objects
may chip the blade.
❏ The sheet for the auto cutter blade is to protect the
blade. Do not remove the sheet while replacing
the auto cutter blade.
After replacing the auto cutter blade, it will come
off when the auto cutter blade returns to its
original position.
❏ Tighten the screws locking the auto cutter blade
firmly. If the auto cutter blade is not securely
fastened, the cutting position may shift or be at
the wrong angle.

Dispose of items according to local laws and
regulations. For example, contract an industrial waste
disposal company for disposal. In such cases, submit
the "Safety data sheet" to the industrial waste disposal
company.

Print Head Nozzle Check

If you want to check the condition of the nozzles
before printing, or if you see stripes or unevenness in
the print results, you can print out a check pattern and
visually check it to see the condition of the nozzles.

Check that the printer is ready to print, press
, and then press Print Head Nozzle
Check.
Press Start.
The check pattern is printed.
Check the check pattern.
If necessary, press the
media so that you can check it.
Example of clean nozzles
If there are no gaps in the check pattern, press
[ ].
Example of clogged nozzles
If there are gaps in the nozzle check pattern,
press [ ], and then perform Head Cleaning.
