Press (menu), and then press Media
Settings - Print Adjustments - Print Head
Alignment.

Press Start.
An adjustment pattern is printed. Wait until
printing is complete.

Check the printed #1A adjustment pattern.
In the illustration above, #1A is in two
locations, but the number printed depends on
the media width.

Check the number of the pattern with the finest
lines (the lines overlap).
This would be pattern 0 in the example shown
in the following illustration.
Check the number of the adjustment patterns
with the finest lines in all #1 A patterns.

Media Feed Adjustment

This menu is also used when banding (horizontal
banding, tint unevenness, or stripes) is detected in
printing results.
You can select from Manual(Standard) or
Manual(Measurement) to perform adjustments.
Manual (Standard)
Usually, select this option.
Manual (Measurement)
Select this option in the following cases.

Find the average value for all #1A adjustment
patterns.
Example: When two adjustment patterns have
been printed
Note:
If the value you get is not an integer, round it to
the integer.
The screen for entering confirmation results for
the adjustment pattern is displayed.
Press / to set the average value you
obtained in step 6.
Repeat steps 5 to 7 for #1B, #2A, and #2B, and
then press OK.
When adjustments are complete, the Home
screen is displayed.
