C. The blades, when the lever is disengaged, continue to rotate:
Check that the brake pulley is engaged If this is not the case loosen the cutting adjustment lever until the brake
lining rests against the shoulder of the pulley.
Check that the brake lining is not worn

With the forward movement lever engaged, the machine does not move:
Check the tension on the engagement wire in case it is too loose.
Check that the transmission belts are not too worn.

Always use only original spare parts. Non‐original spare parts could cause injuries to you and to bystanders, apart from damage
to the machine.

PURPOSE OF THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL
This Instruction Manual is an integral part of the machine and has the purpose of providing all of the information necessary for:
The proper sensitisation of operators regarding safety;
Safe handling of the machine, either packaged or unwrapped;
Proper installation of the machine;
Detailed knowledge of its operation and its limitations;
Its proper and safe use;
Performing maintenance procedures properly and safely;
Disassembling the machine safely and in compliance with the worker health and safety standards in force as well as
those for the environment.
The managers in the corporate departments who purchase this machine, have the obligation, pursuant to the standards in
force, to read the contents of this Manual carefully and to have the assigned operators and maintenance personnel read it as
regards the parts that concern them.
The time used for this purpose will be for the most part compensated by the proper operation of the machine and by its safe
use.
This document assumes that wherever the machine is to be put into operation, that the work health and safety standards in
force will be complied with.
The instructions, drawings and documentation contained in this Manual are technical and confidential, being the property of
ECOTECH ITALIA and may not be reproduced in any manner, either wholly or in part.
The customer, in addition, has the responsibility to make sure that, in the event that this document were to be changed by the
manufacturer, only updated versions of the manual will be actually available in the places where the machine is being used.
D. The machine does not operate properly: check:
That the wire is not too worn out. If it did replace it as follows:
turn off the engine, remove the old wire, take a new
o
one and give him a simple knot in the middle (Figure 7‐
2), and finally fits into its housing;
That the air filter (no. 13) is not too fouled causing a notable loss
in power of the motor. In this case blow it out with compressed
air or replace it with a new one, which may be purchased at your
reseller.
That the gas has not nearly run out.
That the oil level is not lower than the minimum level (no. 11)
That the belt does not slip: in this case adjust the wire.
