Glossary of terms
Mulching machine: machine which spreads plastic
mulch sheeting wound round a reel.
Plastic mulch: strip of polyethylene commonly used to
cover the ground in which the seedling will be planted.
Row spacing: the distance between each row.
Plant spacing: this is the distance between one seed-
ling and the next in the same row.
