4 Connection

4.1 Soft Starter Connection

The PROFINET Module is powered from the soft starter.
The PROFINET Module is not suitable for use with MCD 200 soft starters using 380/440 V AC control voltage.

4.2 Network Connection

4.2.1 Ethernet Ports

The device has 2 Ethernet ports. If only 1 connection is required, either port can be used.

4.2.2 Cables

When connecting to the device, make sure that the cables are of 1 of the following categories:
