• Have tools and materials ready.
– 1 slotted screwdriver
– 1 Battery replacement set (RNG521.bat)
• Prepare the unit.
– Break the seal.
– Open the housing.
Warning
Danger of explosion!
Battery replacement may only be carried out by trained and skilled personnel!
Only a battery approved for the WTT568.. may be used, otherwise there is a risk of explosion!
Note
Risk of damage!
PCB may be damaged! Carry out the following steps very carefully.
Battery replacement
1. Disconnect the battery connector from the old battery.
2. Open the battery compartment.
Note
After opening the battery compartment, the battery is no longer fixed and may fall out!
When opening the battery compartment, hold the battery firmly.
3. Remove the old battery.
4. Insert the new battery into the battery compartment.
5. Lead the battery cable out of the battery compartment sideways or centrally, depending on the variant of the
battery.
6. Close the battery compartment.
7. Insert the battery connector of the new battery.
Testing the connection to the S GCP
1. Press the function key for a long time.
The display shows the message "SYNC".
Completing the battery change
1. Close housing.
2. Install a new seal from the battery replacement set.
No other action can be started while the gateway is performing an operation.
If the user attempts to start an action by pressing a button while the device is still performing
an operation, the buzzer generates a short tone, the LED flashes red and the "busy"
message is shown in the display.
