Install the scanner
CAUTION:
The scanner weighs 24.5 kg (54 Ib) and
requires at least two people to lift it safely. Anytime you
move or lift the scanner, make sure you have enough
people to help you.
If you did not purchase an optional
scanner cabinet, place the scanner on a
flat, stable surface close to the printer
and then procede to "Install the automatic
document feeder" on page 33.

Remove the scanner from the box
and place it on the cabinet.

Place the washer on the
thumbscrew.

Open the cabinet door.

Insert the cabinet thumbscrew
through the bottom of the cabinet
and into the bottom of the scanner.

Tighten the thumbscrew securely.
