3.2. Compressed air quality

Required characteristics for compressed-air supply according to standard NF ISO 8573-1:
Maximum dew point at 6 bar (90 psi)
Maximum particle-size of solid pollutants
Maximum oil concentration
Maximum concentration of solid pollutants
*: Values are given for a temperature of 0˚ C (32˚ F) at an atmospheric pressure of 1,013 mbar.
WARNING : Non-compliance with these characteristics may result in incorrect operation of the
"CRN 457" control module.
WARNING : A 5µ µ µ µ filter must be installed upstream of the "CRN 457" control module compressed-
air supply system. The size of this filter depends on the size of the installation.
Sames Technologies advises to use a filter like the one indicated in section
(see § 10.6 page 46).
If any damage on the equipment happens because of a polluted air, the warranty could be not
applied.
