The measurement is repeated on the
same target and under the same condi-
tions. The error is the repeatability
value. The measured value noise is not
taken into account.
Randomly distributed deviation of a
measured value by an average value.
The distribution of the individual mea-
surement values typically follows a sta-
tistical normal distribution.
The range between the smallest and
largest object distance in which the
measuring instrument supplies read-
ings within the specification.
