Starting Procedure

Sportjet 345, 395 & 435
1 Familiarise yourself with the owner's
handbook and all warning labels.
2 Secure any loose ropes which could get
sucked into the jet unit.
3 Attach yourself to the kill cord.
WARNING.
Personal injury may
result if not attached.
4 Ensure the shift lever is in the neutral
position.
5 Turn the battery isolator and ignition key to
the on position.
6 Run bilge blower for 4 minutes.
7 Turn the ignition key until engine starts.
Sportjet 460 & 520
1 Familiarise yourself with the owner's
handbook and all warning labels.
2 Secure any loose ropes which could get
sucked into the jet unit.
3 Attach yourself to the kill cord.
WARNING.
Personal injury may
result if not attached.
4 Ensure the shift lever is in the neutral
position.
5 Turn the ignition key to the on position.
6 Run bilge blower for 4 minutes.
7 Press the start/stop button to start the
engine.
