Turn the VX6 off before attaching the power plug.
Connect the power cable to vehicle power (See the following section titled "Vehicle
12-80VDC Direct Connection".)
- or -
to an AC adapter. (See the following section titled "External Power Supply".).
Several possibilities are available for routing the vehicle power to the VX6. See the
following section titled "Vehicle 12-80VDC Direct Connection" for details.
All plugs and receptacles are keyed and care must be used when connecting the cables.
Tighten the nut of the plugs clockwise until tight.
Secure the cable with the strain relief cable clamps.
