Verifone VX805 Integration Guide
Note: Before this integration can begin, you will need your VAR sheet or Setup letter from
Verifone. If you do not have this information, you can contact Verifone on 1-800-VERIFONE.
This integration is only compatible with Windows till systems.
Installing the app
1.
Log in to your
2. Head to Apps along the left-hand side
3. Use your touchscreen keyboard to bring up the URL bar by pressing CTRL + F12
4. Select any app showing on the home screen of the app page - you will see an address in
the URL bar with some numbers at the end
5. Remove the numbers from the end of this URL and replace them with 253
6. Press enter on your keyboard
7. Install the Mercury EMV app (this app is free to install)
This completes the installation of the payment app on your till software.
Activating the app
1. Log in to your
2. Head to the Setup tab (top left corner)
3. Select Locations
4. Select Locations and Devices
5. Scroll to the right on your location, select Show Devices
6. Locate the device you wish to connect the card reader to, select Edit
7. Scroll to the right, tick the Mercury tick box
8. Scroll to the left, select Update
Mercury will now show as enabled on the device.

to download the software. Follow the steps below to continue with the installation:
1. You will see the folder downloading in the bottom left hand corner, select the download
2. Select open and run

- Page 4 You will then see a pop up on the screen confirming that Epos Now software is connecting to the Verifone card reader, be sure to check the card reader screen to see if it’s showing the amount. If the transaction amount is showing on the card reader, you can now take payment. The till system will receive a signal from the Verifone card reader and will cash off the payment on the Epos Now software.payment.
