Wireless Bolt LTE
4.4. Connect to Power and Ethernet
Before You Begin
CAUTION
Connecting power with reverse polarity or using the wrong type of power
supply may damage the equipment. Make sure that the power supply is
connected correctly and of the recommended type.
IMPORTANT
Connecting the Bolt LTE to PoE and DC power simultaneously may result
in a current loop that could damage both the power sources and the Bolt
LTE. Ensure to use only one of the power connections at a time.
IMPORTANT
When Bolt LTE is powered via the power connector, Functional Earth (FE)
must be connected.
NOTE
When Bolt LTE is installed in an environment with a high level of electrical
noise, use a power/Functional Earth (FE) cable with a maximum length of
3 meters.
