Disassembly and assembly

9.1

Introduction

The precondition for the work described in the following is a low-pressure stage that has
been removed from the engine (see
WARNING
Non-observance of the work steps and further work
Incorrectly performed work or further work can cause injury to personnel or
damage to the machine.
Only perform work that is described in this document.

Only perform work for which you have previously received instruction or
u
training.
Have further work carried out only by trained personnel from a Turbo Sys-
u
tems service station.
Mark the casing position for assembly.
u
Tightening torques for components
The specified bolted connection tightening torques must be observed (see
ing torques
→91).
Tightening torques for assembly devices
Unless otherwise described, the screws and nuts of the assembly devices supplied by Turbo
Systems must be tightened in such a way that they are tight-fitting.
WARNING
Suspended loads
Loads that are not attached according to regulations can cause injury to
personnel or fatal accidents.
Loads must always be fastened to properly functional lifting gear with a

sufficient load limit.
Pay attention to the correct attachment of loads on the crane hook.
u
People must not stand beneath suspended loads.
u
Wear safety gloves to protect against mechanical hazards.
Wear safety helmet.
