7.4 Device outputs (menu 4)
Signal type (menu 4.2.2)
In this menu the signal type of the digital output 1 can be configured. Only passive signals with
selectable signal logic (positive or negative) are available for this output, i. e. the output acts as
a switch and may have to be connected to an external supply (observe the current limit,
see Technical specifications (Page 79)).

Signals with positive and negative logic can be generated (positive or negative pulses).

There are two parameters to be set for the pulse output in this menu:
• Unit
The physical unit (unit/pulse).
• Pulse rate
Number of mass/volume units per pulse.
