6. Maintenance, cleaning and preservation
When buying a cooker, carefully carry it to the place where it will be installed,
protecting it from mechanical damage and shocks.
During the first one or two ignitions, it is possible to release residual vapors from
the baking of the heat resistant paint, which must be aired from the room.
Use thermo-resistant gloves when you have to touch hot surfaces.
Clean the ashpan daily. Do not dispose the ash in plastic containers (vessels).
Regularly clean the flue cavities under the oven, around it and the chimneys.
The painted surfaces are cleaned with a slightly damp cloth of natural materials
only when the stove is turned off and cooled. Do not use cleaning detergents.
The thermoshock glass ceramics on the door of the combustion chamber or on the
hob are wiped with a damp cloth in warm or cold condition and the tempered glasses
of the oven only in cold condition.
