When opening for additional fueling, close the primary air vents and make sure that
embers do not fall out of the chamber.
For evenly (uniform) heating of the oven, pull out the slide to divert the flue
gases.

4. Signs of proper burning
Burning must run without in the presence of flames without smoking. Smoke
is a product of incomplete combustion due to moist fuel, low temperature in
the combustion chamber and low draft.
There are refractory bricks in the stove, they must maintain their natural
color in yellow-brown, but not black.
With dried wood and sufficient primary air, immediate ignition must be
achieved with each new refill.
The glass ceramic of the door must remain clean even during prolonged
operation.
The gases coming out of the chimney must be transparent and white. Gray
smoke indicates that there is smoldering and poor combustion.
5. Requirements for the flue (chimney)
The chimney is designed to draw the products of combustion from the stove and
throw them away into the atmosphere outside the home.
