Failure check-list
16.1. Failure and problem curing
In case of a failure, the user can check several points himself, before contacting the service
department. We are stating some common problems, which can be solved easily.
Problem
the equipment cannot be powered up
the failure E1 interrupts a measurement
unperiodically
the cloud point measured is not correct
the cloud point measurements are not re-
producible
failed turbidity calibration
the time and date are lost after switching off

Points to check
check fuse, cables, connectors
defect of the temperature probe sensor,
replace it
perform a turbidity calibration procedure
1. the efficient stirring speed is too slow
2. different sorts of glass tubes have been
used without a new turbidity calibration
3. the tolerances of the weight determination
of used mixture are too high
4. use of different program parameters, check
the adjustments of speed, time, turbidity and
hold temperature
5. The defined temperature gradient is too
high.
1. check the standards liquids
2. the pollution of sensor system is too strong,
clean up the system
the capacity of lithium cell is exhausted
