DIGITAL ROC/GEM
• When scanning a B&W film, the Digital GEM function is not available.
• When using the Digital GEM function, be sure and perform the prescan and adjust focus with
the Point AF or Manual Focus function (p.40 to 41) before the final scan. Putting a checkmark
on [Auto Focus at Scan] in the Preferences is recommended.
• The Digital GEM function may not always operate effectively depending on the condition of the
film.
• Much more time is required for scanning when the Digital GEM function is turned on compared
with when that function is turned off.

Repeat steps 5 to 7 if necessary and
specify the Digital GEM adjust value
so that an appropriate correction
result can be obtained.

• The image will be scanned and corrected
according to the specified value (Digital GEM
adjust value).
