Positioning the pedestal

Position the pedestal in the location where it will be used.
Place the pedestal in front of the port window so the front of the stand (the side with the
rubber grommets) faces the port window.

Leveling the pedestal

The Christie Rack Mount Pedestal feet provide a 5 cm (2.5 inches) range of leveling adjustment.
Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.
Do not use the leveling feet to tilt or angle the rack stand.
TIP HAZARD! Install each pedestal foot correctly by sufficiently screwing the leveling feet into
the base of the pedestal to provide rack stability.
1. Loosen one lock nut on each of the four pedestal feet using a 24 mm (15/16 inch) wrench.
2. Place a leveling device on top of the pedestal.
3. Adjust the height of each pedestal foot until the leveling device indicates that the pedestal is
level.
Turn the feet on the bottom of the pedestal clockwise or counter-clockwise 1/8th of a turn at a
time to extend or retract them.
4. Tighten one lock nut on each of the four pedestal feet.

Installing the foot brackets

Learn how to install the pedestal foot brackets.
Warning! If not avoided, the following could result in death or serious injury.
Two or more people are required to safely lift and install the Christie product.
1. Determine the bracket location for your projector model.
CP43xx-RGB and CP44xx-RGB models—Use the Rack Stand Adapter bracket (P/N:
163-101103-XX) and follow the product's instructions to use the brackets with the rack stand.
