ORIGINAL PLACEMENT

Open the original cover, and place the original.

When placing the original, place the original face down on the original table
against the guides as shown in the illustration.
Available area for reading the document
The unit can read only the document placed within the available area for reading. The unit cannot
read the document placed on the areas within 2 mm from the edges of top, bottom, left, and right
sides respectively. Make sure not to place your document outside the available area.
Gently close the original cover.

The unit can read up to A4/8.5" x 11" original.
