General Information

Fuel Gauge

1.
Fuel gauge
The fuel gauge indicates the amount of
fuel in the tank.
With the ignition switched on, the
number of bars shown in the display
indicates the level of fuel.
When the fuel tank is full all eight bars
are displayed and when empty, no bars
are displayed. Other gauge markings
indicate
intermediate
between full and empty.
All models: When two bars are displayed
the low fuel warning light will illuminate,
five seconds later the display screen will
switch to the Range to Empty display
(see page 37). This indicates there are
approximately
4.0
remaining in the tank and you should
refuel at the earliest opportunity.
Tiger XR and Tiger XC models only: If
the display screen is changed so that
the Range to Empty is no longer shown,
this information will not be shown again
until the ignition is next switched on,
while the fuel warning light is on. After
refueling, the fuel gauge will be updated
