Installation
PCU can be mounted hanging on a wall or installed
standing.

Hanging installation

Use the supplied mounting bracket (12) when hanging
on a wall, these are secured first (Ø 8 10 mm screws),
see the figure. The heater is then mounted on the
bracket.
For further fastening, the enclosed securing bracket (13)
is fitted on the wall against the top of the water heater
as a tip guard, see the figure.
Cold and hot water connections must be connected
using compression ring couplings designed for copper
and plastic pipes. Internal support bushes should be
fitted when a plastic pipe or annealed copper pipe is
used. In addition, necessary safety and valve equipment
must be installed. This equipment is not included in the
delivery.
If the hot water temperature exceeds 60 °C, a mixing
valve can be installed.
12
Install safety valve (E), nonreturn valve (B) and shutoff
valve (A) in the cold water pipe according to the order
shown in the figure below. The safety valve's outlet
pipe must run freely over the drain.

Standing installation

If the hot water heater is installed standing, the supplied
base (10) must be installed as below.
It is important for stability that the base ring is pressed
through the insulation so that it lies against the inner
container.
The cover is removed by "lifting" the front edge so that
the plastic clips unhook.

Maintenance

VV
The safety valve must be inspected regularly (about 4
KV
times a year) to prevent clogging. The water should
then flow through the overflow pipe. If this does not
A
happen then the safety valve is defective and must be
changed.
The safety valve sometimes releases a little water after
hot water has been tapped. This discharge is caused by
the expansion of the cold water taken into the water
heater, resulting in a pressure increase, whereby the
safety valve opens.
