injury should an accident occur. Only remove a
head restraint if no one will be sitting on the seat
in question. Refit the head restraint before
transporting a passenger on that seat; other-
wise the passenger will be without protection
from the head
restraint.<
Height
Adjust the head restraint so that its centre is
approximately at the height of your ear.
Distance
Adjust the spacing so that the head restraint is
as close as possible to the back of the head.
Front seats
Adjusting height
>
Up: pull.
>
Down: press the button, arrow 1, and slide
the head restraint down.
Removing
1.
Pull up all the way.
2.
Press the button, arrow 1, and pull the head
restraint fully out.

Rear seats
Adjusting height

Up: pull.

Down: press the button, arrow 1, and slide
the head restraint down.
The centre head restraint is not height-adjusta-
ble.
Removing
1.
Pull up all the way.
2.
Press the button, arrow 1, and pull the head
restraint fully out.
Folding head restraints down and back
up*
Depending on the equipment version, your car
has folding head restraints.
Folding down:
Press the button, arrow 1.
Folding up:
Pull the head restraint.
Only fold down the head restraints if there
are no passengers in the rear. Fold up the
head restraints before allowing passengers to
occupy the rear
seats.<
