• [Serial Port 1] - [Serial Port 5]: Shows incoming NMEA data for ports 1 - 5.

Shows the incoming data details for the selected port.

[Settings]
Access the output settings window for the selected port.

• [NMEA Format]: Set the NMEA format to use for data output. The available
options are [Ver1.5], [Ver2.0], [Ver3.0], or [Echo].
Note 1: After changing a setting, the default settings for all other items in the
setting window are restored.
Note 2: [Echo] is intended for use in research surveys. Do not use this mode
in normal use. Echo data is output from the NMEA port (baud rate (bps):
38400, 57600, or 115200), however navigation data cannot be received.
• [Output Data]: Where [TLL Output] is set to [FURUNO-TLL], select the infor-
mation to output. More than one item can be selected, among the following:
[Depth]: Output depth data.
[Temperature]
[Fish Size]*
• [TLL Output]: Select which TLL data to output. The data will be output when
a TLL line is inscribed.
[Off]: No TLL data is output.
[TLL]: Only latitude and longitude are output.
[FURUNO-TLL]: Latitude, longitude and items selected at [Output Data] are
output. (Requires connection to a FURUNO-TLL compatible device.)
• [Baud Rate]: Set the data transfer speed. The available options are [4800],
[38400] (bps).
When the settings are changed, click the [Apply] button to apply new settings.

To close the [Communication Port Monitor], click the [Close Window] icon ( ) at the
top-right corner of the window.
