❖ Standard-definition connection (SCART)

If you have a TV with a SCART connector, you can connect up as shown in the diagram
below .

1 . Use the supplied SCART to mini-DIN cable to connect your box to your TV .

to the satellite input connector (marked SAT IN) on your box .
Notes
A SCART to mini-DIN cable carries both video and audio signals to your TV . However, if you want to
make alternative audio connection to improve the sound, see page 14 .
If you observe degraded picture quality while viewing copy-protected pay-per-view programmes,
connect your box directly to the TV . Do not connect through a VCR .
