Battery Information
Caution: The battery pack used in this device may ignite, create a chemical burn hazard, explode, or release toxic
materials if mistreated. Do not incinerate, disassemble, or heat above 100°C (212°F). Charge only with Intermec Models
AD15, AD16, AC16, AC15, and AV7. Do not short circuit; may cause burns. Keep away from children.
Use only Intermec battery pack Model 318-013-004. Risk of fire or explosion if incorrect battery pack is used. Promptly
dispose of used battery pack according to the instructions.
Battery Recycling Information
This product contains or uses a lithium ion (Li-ion) main battery. When the battery reaches the end of its useful life, the
spent battery should be disposed of by a qualified recycler or hazardous materials handler. Do not mix this battery with the
solid waste stream. Contact your Intermec Technologies Service Center for recycling or disposal information.

Laser and Imager Compliance and Precaution
This product complies with the following standards for laser and LED safety:
• IEC 60825-1 / EN 60825-1 - Class 1 LED Product (imaging options only, no laser label)
• IEC 60825-1 / EN 60825-1 - Class 2 (1 mW, 630-680 nm)
This product is provided with a set of laser safety labels illustrated on page 9 of this guide. If the appropriate label is not installed on the
device, locate the sheet(s) of labels that was shipped with your device and place the appropriate label over the existing label.
Note: Products using the imaging options do not come with the labels mentioned above. These labels are only required for products using
laser scan engines.

Radio Wave Exposure and Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Information for Model 700C
For residents of the European Union and other countries/regions that have adopted the International Commission on Non-Ionizing
Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) SAR limit, the maximum allowed SAR value is 2.0W/kg over 10g of tissue. For use at the ear, the highest
SAR value for the Model 700C, as tested by Compliance Certification Services, is 0.297 Wk/g. For body worn operation, the highest SAR
value for the Model 700C, as tested by Compliance Certification Services, is 0.456W/kg.
