Configuration Password mode

The configuration password protects the MicroBar NX against unauthorized configuration.
When the password is activated, the MicroBar NX will only save the configuration if you
have scanned a Code 39 bar code containing the password—if you do not read the
password, your new configuration will be lost when you switch off the MicroBar NX.
Password format:
*
Code 39 start/stop character
$ obligatory fourth character, generated automatically
char1 , char2 and char3 are user-defined password characters
To deactivate the password
1. Read the correct password code.
2. Scan Not Active.
Make sure that your barcode reader and MicroBar NX are configured to read Code 39
barcode labels before you read the password code you have created.

Example
To create a bar code with the password "R V B $" :
1. Scan Compose Password.
2. Scan the characters "R", "V", and "B" and scan End Selection to finish
3. Print the Code 39 label with your printer.
