  • Page 2 Please follow the instructions below to mount the dedicated focus gear on the lens. Extend the lens to the 3x magnification position. Mount the externally threaded half rings on the lens as indicated in the diagram. While holding the half rings firmly, insert the locking ring from the rear of the lens.
  • Page 3 Fasten the connector half rings by tightening the six screws. Insert the focus gear ring from the rear of the lens while making sure the inner grooves are lined up with the alignment indices of the connector half rings. Fasten the focus gear ring by tightening the four grub screws.
  • Page 4 Stabilizing Ring: The stabilizing ring should be mounted to the respective compact port or compact extension ring depending on the magnification of your choice, please refer to the circled part in the following chart: Insert the stabilizing ring into the compact port/extension ring as shown, until the flange of the stabilizing ring sits on the bottom of the threaded part of the compact port/extension...
