Using the Charger (accessory)

To charge an empty battery pack in the charger, proceed as follows:
Plug in the power supply adapter.

Insert the empty battery pack.

Switch on the power using the on/off switch at the rear of the charger.

During charging, the charging indictor on the charger unit is amber.

When the charging indicator turns green, the battery is fully

recharged. Charging time at room temperature is approximately 2
hours.
Possible charging faults are indicated by the charging indicator switch-

ing to blinking amber.
Th e battery pack contains nickel/metal hydride (NiMH)
cells which are potentially dangerous to the environment.
Check and follow local regulations for disposal of nickel/
metal hydride batteries. Do not disassemble the battery
pack and only recharge it with approved equipment from
Intermec.
