3. Remove the back panel.

This explains how to adjust the furnace door springs to a proper tension.
1. Disconnect the instrument from the wall outlet.
2. Remove the furnace back/top panel (see page 80, Furnace top/back removal).
3. Open the door manually and hold it fully open.
