Swivel Setting - Mafell DD40P Operating/Safety Instructions Manual

Ensure that you check the zero setting of the drilling depth after you have changed the tool.
Use the following procedure to adjust the zero
setting of the drilling depth:
1. Loosen the wing screw (7) for the swivel setting.
2. Swing the swiveling guide fence (1) to 0°.
3. Tighten the wing screw (7) for the swivel setting.
4. Put the machine with opened swiveling guide
fence on a level surface.
5. Push the motor unit (13) forward until the drill tip
rests on this surface.
6. Loosen the wing screw (5) for the depth stop.
7. Push the depth stop (6) upwards until it hits the
stop.
8. Tighten the wing screw (5) for the depth stop.
9. Push the pointer (14) to zero.

4.5 Swivel setting

The swiveling guide fence can continuously be adjusted in the range from 0° through 90°. Three detent
positions allow quick adjustment of the angles 22.5° / 45° / 67.5°.
Use the following procedure to adjust the
swiveling guide fence:
1. Loosen the wing screw (7) for the swivel setting.
2. Swing the swiveling guide fence (1) to the
desired direction.
The angle is indicated by the red pointer

3. Tighten the wing screw (7).
