By setting the H O R I Z O N T A L MODE s w i t c h e s (§) to
B, the A s w e e p waveform disappears, and the
intensity-modulation part on the A s w e e p trace line
is magnified on the C R T .
Fig. 19
NOTE: • Delayed s w e e p is impossible for 0.2 div.
from the A s w e e p start point.
• In the Start After Delay, increasing mag-
nification will cause delay jitters. In such
a c a s e , use the triggered delay described
below.
2. Triggered Delay
Set the B S O U R C E s w i t c h e s © to any of C H 1 to C H 4 .
(TRIG. C O U N T goes out.) The B s w e e p starts at the first
trigger pulse after the delay time set with the D E L A Y PO-
SITION @ has passed. Set the trigger level of the B sweep
with the B L E V E L control @ .
Since the B s w e e p of triggered delayed s w e e p operation
starts at the first trigger signal after the delay time dis-
played on the C R T , the displayed delay time serves as
reference only. A " ? " is displayed posterior to D E L A Y
on the C R T to indicate to that effect.

3 . TRIG COUNT Switch
The TRIG COUNT switch is conveniently used for delayed
sweep of signals w h o s e number of pulses is already-
known s u c h as the video signal, digital signal, e t c .

Select A of the H O R I Z O N T A L MODE s w i t c h e s (§),
and set each s w i t c h and control knob for normal
w a v e f o r m observation.
Set the H O R I Z O N T A L MODE s w i t c h e s to A INT B,
and select a channel to be observed ( C H 1 to C H 4 )
with the B S O U R C E s w i t c h .

" C O U N T " is displayed in the upper right of the C R T
and a count value is displayed following it.
On completion of the above setting, rotate the D E -
L A Y POSITION control (28) to set the count value to
1 . T h e n , rotate the B L E V E L @ to display intensity-
modulation part on the C R T . If the A S L O P E and B
S L O P E are set to the same value, the start point of
the intensity modulation changes depending on set-
ting of the A L E V E L (§) and B L E V E L @ , w h i c h shall
be set as follows:
N O T E : The trigger counter regards the B s w e e p trig-
ger point next to the A s w e e p trigger point
as " 0 " (not displayed) and the following B
trigger point as " 1 " .
If the count value is set to 1 , the relationship
of these trigger points is as follows:
i) A S L O P E : + , B S L O P E :
ii) A S L O P E : + , B S L O P E :
iii) A S L O P E : - , B S L O P E : +
iv) A S L O P E : - , B S L O P E :
