3. Type the path to the CD-ROM device you want to use (for example,
/vol/dev/aliases/cdrom0).
When you finish typing in the path, click OK.
4. Exit all Microsoft Windows operating systems and use the Reset PC option in the
SunPCi II window.
When SunPCi II software restarts, it uses the CD-ROM drive device that you
specified.

Video Display Problems

24-Bit Display on Sun Blade 100

On a SunBlade 100 workstation with an M64 frame buffer, follow this procedure to
display 24-bit color in the SunPCi II window.
1. Open a Terminal window and log in as root.
2. Open the file /usr/dt/config/Xservers in a text editor and edit the last line of
the file so that it appears as follows:
:0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun :0
-nobanner -dev /dev/fb defdepth 24
3. Save and close the file.
4. Type the following commandto find out the current resolution setting:
# m64config -prconf
5. Type the following command to set the display to 24-bit color:
# m64config -depth 24 -res currentresolutionsetting
Use the resolution setting that was returned by the command m64config -prconf.
For example, type: m64config -depth 24 -res 1152x900x76.
