3. Inspection of Diode Trio

With a circuit tester connected to both ends of each diode, check continuity of the three diodes. If there

is continuity or no continuity in both directions, the diode is damaged. Then, replace the rectifier

1. The brush must be replaced if worn to the wear limit line.

2. Unsolder the brush lead wires, and the brush and spring will come out.

3. When installing a new brush, push the brush into the holder as illustrated and solder the leads.
