When the Engine is Warm:
1. Apply the rear brake pedal and
release the parking brake by
squeezing the clutch lever.
2. Squeeze the clutch lever, open the
throttle slightly and push the elec-
tric starter button.
NOTE: Operation of the choke is not
necessary to start the engine. Opera-
tion of the choke can make the engine
hard to start due to too rich fuel/air
mixture.
CAUTION
Engaging the starter motor for
more than five seconds at a time
can damage the ATV.
The starter motor and wiring har-
ness may overheat.
If the engine does not start after
several tries, check the fuel supply
and ignition system.
WARNING
Running your ATV indoors where
there is little or no ventilation can
be hazardous.
When breathed in, exhaust gases
from the ATV can cause death or
severe injury.
Always run your ATV outdoors
where there is fresh air.

STARTING OFF AND SHIFTING

WARNING
Carrying a passenger on this ATV
can be hazardous.
Carrying a passenger can greatly
reduce your ability to balance and
steer this ATV. If you carry a pas-
senger, you can lose control, and
both you and the passenger can
be severely injured.
Never carry a passenger. The ATV
has a long seat so you can change
position to maneuver the ATV. It is
not for carrying passengers.
