FOCUSING

Your Leica Q2 allows automatic as well as manual focusing. There
are 2 operating modes and 5 metering methods available for auto-
matic focusing.
TAKING VIDEOS WITH AF
Focusing is done as needed when
metering field will be focused continuously if
ous focusing can be suppressed by using a metering memory lock.

A meaningful option if the focus setting should remain constant for
an extended period of time. Allows greater control over focusing and
helps to avoid incorrect focusing.
AFc (continuous)
Suitable for objects in motion. Focusing is continuously adjusted to
the object in the AF metering field.
Facilitates an intuitive focus control, specifically in conjunction with
Touch AF.
