4. Installation Instructions

4.1 Surface Mount

Ceiling or wall
L-Wrench
Surface mount base
Mount screws and
pipe hole cap for
surface mount base
Dome base assembly
Mount screws with
O rings for fitting to
surface mount base
Dome bubble assembly
Quick installation guide
. Locate the mounting template at the installation position
and drill the ceiling or wall if needed.
. Place Surface mount base on pre-drilled position and fix it
through Surface mount base mount holes (t) (4x) by using
Mount screws.
Assemble the cable pipe, otherwise tighten pipe hole cap
by using H-handle if the cable pipe is not installed.
3. Open Dome bubble assembly by loosening Ring cover
fixing screws (m) (3x).
CAUTION
Extreme care should be taken NOT to scratch the
dome surfaces and to protect it from dirt or dust at
any time.
4. Route the power/ video cable to the connecting place.
CAUTION
Care should be taken the cable is NOT to be damaged,
kinked or exposed in the hazardous area.
5. Fix Dome base assembly to Surface mount base by using
mount screws with O-rings.
6. Adjust the camera direction with Y-tilt bracket (j), Z-tilt
bracket (k) and Pan bracket (l).
7. Adjust zoom by Zoom knob (i) and focus by turning IR LED
board (f) which is also used as the focus adjustor.
8. Put Dome bubble assembly over Dome camera assembly
and tighten Ring cover fixing screws (m) (3x) by using
L-shape star wrench
CAUTION
• Make sure that IR LEDs or Light sensor (e) are NOT
blocked by Shield dome (r) or Ring cover (o).
Day/night malfuctions if Light sensor (e) is
obstructed. See section 4.4 for the best alignment
of Shield dome (r).
• Tighten enough Ring cover fixing screws (m) (3x)
so that there should be NO gap between Lens hood
(g) and Clear bubble (n) to avoid the light inflow
from IR LEDs.
