Install the flywheel cover.

Install the recoil starter and fuel tank. Refer to Section 8A ‑ Recoil Starter.

Connect the spark plug lead to the spark plug.

Ignition Coil Replacement

Removal

Fuel is flammable and explosive. Ensure that the key switch is off and the lanyard is positioned so that the engine cannot
start. Do not smoke or allow sources of spark or open flame in the area while servicing. Keep the work area well ventilated
and avoid prolonged exposure to vapors. Always check for leaks before attempting to start the engine, and wipe up any
spilled fuel immediately.
1.
Disconnect the spark plug lead from the spark plug.
2.
Drain the fuel tank.
3.
Remove the three bolts and washers securing the fuel tank and remove the fuel tank from the engine.
