The H2TU-C-388 List 1E can be provisioned by using the MODE and SEL buttons on the front panel or by
accessing the HiGain HDSL2 maintenance screens. While the MODE and SEL buttons can be used to manually
accomplish some provisioning tasks, such as setting system options, the HiGain HDSL2 maintenance screens can
handle all provisioning tasks. The maintenance screens are available when you connect a PC to the craft port.
After a successful installation, complete the following tasks:

Set the Date and Time, as described in

Set the circuit IDs, as described in

Make changes to configuration, as described in

Clear the Performance, Alarm history, and Event Log screens to remove miscellaneous data acquired during
Startup or use Master Clear in the Master Clear in the Config Menu. This ensures the collection of accurate
and meaningful data, as described in
