Cleaning the TENS Unit
1. Turn the TENS unit off and disconnect the lead
wires.
2.
Clean gently with a damp cloth and wipe dry
immediately.
Note:
• Do not use chemicals or detergents to clean
the unit.
• Do not let water get into the TENS unit.
• The TENS unit and the accessories do not
require sterilization.

Cleaning the Electrode Pads
Wash the pads when the adhesive becomes dirty and
the pads are difficult to attach. Electrodes may be
washed and reused 10–15 times.
1. Turn the TENS unit off and disconnect the lead
wires from the pads.
2. Rinse the pads under cold water for several
seconds, using your fingers to remove any dirt
or debris.
3.
Allow the adhesive to air dry completely.
Note:
• Do not use chemicals, detergents, or soap
to clean the electrode pads.
• Do not use a sponge, cloth, or any sharp
object on the adhesive side of the pads.
