Using quick defrost

The Quick Defrost ( ) feature enables you to defrost meat, poultry, fish, bread/
cake and fruit. The defrost time and power level are set automatically. You simply
select the programme and the weight.
CAUTION
Use only containers that are microwave-safe.
Open the door. Place the frozen food on a flat, glass or ceramic plate in the centre
of the turntable. Close the door.

1. Turn the Mode dial to
Quick Defrost ( ).
2. Turn the Multi Function dial to a desired
food. Then, press the Multi Function dial
to set the food. Refer to the following
table for a description of the pre-
programmed settings.
3. Turn the Multi Function dial to a desired
serving size.
4. Press Start/+30s button.
• Defrosting begins.
• The oven beeps while defrosting to
remind you to turn the food over.
5. Press the Start/+30s again to finish
defrosting.
• When it has finished, the oven will
beep and flash "0" four times. The
oven will then beep one time per
minute.

The following table presents the various Quick Defrost programmes, quantities,
standing times and appropriate recommendations. Remove all kind of package
material before defrosting.
Place meat, poultry and fish on a flat glass plate or on a ceramic plate, arrange
bread and cake on kitchen paper.

suitable for whole chicken as
well as for chicken portions.
Shield the tail of a whole fish
with aluminium foil. Turn
the fish over, when the oven
beeps. This programme is
suitable for whole fish as well
as for fish fillets.
