Using convection

The Convection mode enables you to cook food in the same way as in a traditional
oven. The microwave mode is not used. You can set the temperature, as required,
in a range varying from 40 °C to 200 °C in six preset levels. The maximum cooking
time is 90 minutes.
Check that the heating element is in the horizontal position and that the turntable
is in position. Open the door and place the recipient on the low rack and set on
turntable.

CAUTION
Always use oven gloves when touching the recipients in the oven, as they will be
very hot.
NOTE
You can get better cooking and browning if you use the low rack.

1. Turn the Mode dial to Convection (
The following indications are displayed:
(convection mode)
200 °C (temperature)
2. Turn the Multi Function dial to a desired
temperature. Then, press the Multi
Function dial to set the temperature.
(Temperature increments: 200, 180,
160, 140, 100, 40 °C)
3. Turn the Multi Function dial to a desired
cooking time.
4. Press the Start/+30s button.
• When it has finished, the oven will
beep and flash "0" four times. The
oven will then beep one time per
minute.
Using Fast Preheat
For convection cooking, it is recommended that you preheat the oven to the
appropriate temperature before placing the food in the oven. When the oven
reaches the requested temperature, the oven maintains the temperature for 10
minutes, then the oven automatically turns off. Check that the heating element is
in the correct position for type of cooking that you require.

• When the microwave oven reaches
the temperature, the microwave
oven beeps 6 times and keeps the
temperature for 10 minutes.
• After 10 minutes, the microwave
oven beeps 4 times and the
operation stops.
