3. Using Your Camera

2. First Use
2.1 To Open the Battery Door
Unlock the battery door by sliding the battery door notch toward the back of
the camera. Use a fingernail or other pointy object when sliding the latch to
get a better grip. Then slide the door to the right and the door will swing open.
2.2 Installing the Battery
Insert the lithium-ion battery into the battery compartment with the metal
contacts on the left side of the battery facing the inside of the camera. The
battery lock will click indicating the battery is secure. If the camera does
not turn on after installing the battery, simply remove the battery and make
sure the contacts are facing the inside of the camera and on the left.
2.3 Installing the Memory Card
Insert the included Micro SD memory card to record and store your videos and
photos. When the battery is low, media stored on the memory card will not be
erased. Please insert the SD memory card by following the steps below:
1. Open the battery door by following the diagram above.
