RESPONSIBILITY

The Manufacturer does not vouch for correct operation of the panel if it is tampered with or modified, or made
to operate above the values indicated on the data plate.
The Manufacturer declines all responsibility for possible errors in this booklet, if due to misprints or errors in
copying. The company reserves the right to make any modifications to products that it may consider necessary
or useful, without affecting the essential characteristics.

PRECAUTIONS FOR THE BATTERY HOUSED IN THE CONTROL UNIT

 Do not cause sparks or flames above or around the battery.
 Do not short-circuit the terminals.
 Never open the battery or throw it in the fire.
 If the electrolyte (diluted sulphuric acid) comes in contact with the skin or clothes, wash immediately with
water. If it comes in contact with the eyes, wash them and consult a doctor.
 Inspect the outside of the battery and change it if you find any breakage, swelling or other damage to the
container or cover of the battery.
 Clean any dust or other dirt off the battery before use.
 At the end of the battery's working life, do not throw it out with the ordinary refuse, but take it to an
approved collecting centre.
8.

USE IN PARTICULAR ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

If installed in the open, the panels must be protected as much as possible against direct sunlight. If necessary,
suitable steps must be taken to keep the internal temperature of the panel within the above-mentioned field of
use. High temperatures lead to rapid ageing of all the components, causing more or less severe malfunctions.
